Highlander Student Media is composed of seven organizations: Beehive(yearbook), Exit 109 (literary arts magazine), ROC-TV, Radio Free Radford, Student Media Advertising, Tartan (newspaper), and Whim (online content).
The Beehive is Radford University's Student-Run Yearbook/Magazine that is published once a year to remember the events and memories of the year.
Exit 109 is Radford University’s student-run literary and arts magazine. It exists to publish creative work by members of the RU community and foster an appreciation of literature and the arts by giving that work an open forum. All current Radford University students, faculty, staff, and alumni are welcome to submit their original prose, poetry, essays, artwork, and photography to Exit 109.
ROC-TV is Radford University's video production club. You will learn from experienced content creators on how to be successful on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Student Media Advertising, or SMADS, provides advertising sales and advertising design services for all of Highlander Student Media, and helps manage the business side of these revenue-generating organizations.
