SCS Spring 2023 Groups
Anxiety Toolbox
Wednesdays 3:00pm - 4:00pm with John Betzel
This group is a fast paced, 4 session module that is intended to help increase your understanding and knowledge about anxiety. The goal is to provide you with some skills to recognize and manage symptoms you may be experiencing. The workshop was designed so you do not have to share what brought you into counseling or anything else you do not want to share. We will have practice exercises and assignments between meetings to hone and practice specific skills that will help members understand their symptoms and to fight anxiety. These skills are known to promote and increase wellness and healthy living. You can join this group at any time in the 4 session cycle.

This therapy group will help you set goals around your personal and relationship struggles. Through the support and input of a small group of peers and the group leader, members will work on ways to better their relationship with themselves and others in their lives. Most areas of personal distress or struggle would be appropriate concerns to address in this group.
