Main Campus Students
Student Counseling Services (SCS) provides free, confidential, mental health services for eligible students. SCS supports the academic mission by providing learning opportunities for students to grow as individuals, to form deeper relationships with their peers and to develop as successful members of our community and society at large.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been diligently working to find a way to expand our services outside of our offices on campus. Student Counseling Services (SCS) and the Substance Abuse and Violence Education Support (SAVES) offices will be offering individual and group tele-behavioral health services for our students through the remainder of the semester.
For time being, you must be physically present and/or living in the state of Virginia to access services. After you are scheduled, you will then receive an email (to your Radford University account) with the link to complete your paperwork and an invitation to join your clinician through Zoom during your scheduled appointment time. All individual appointments will be no more than 30 minutes in length, group session will be 60 minutes. Paperwork must be completed thoroughly and wholly or your scheduled appointment will have to be rescheduled.
Please reach out to our offices to schedule your first appointment. We can be reached at
