ONE Card makes its debut

The Radford University ONE Card
The Radford University ONE Card.

Radford University has introduced ONE Card, encompassing the vision and student-centered nature of Radford University.

The ONE Card carries a wealth of conveniences with it.

For the first time since the introduction of the campus card program, Radford University has made a significant update and the program is now known as the Radford University ONE Card.

ONE Card is used by students, faculty and staff in a variety of ways, including:

  • Accessing meal plans
  • Purchasing from vending and snack machines
  • Using laundry facilities
  • Paying for printing in computer labs
  • Printing and fines in the library
  • And accessing residence halls and several academic areas

As a part of the ONE Card program, a debit account is offered for the convenience of the students. There are no charges for opening the account, no minimum deposit amount or any fees associated with the account. Funds deposited can be used both on-campus, as well as with participating merchants off-campus, with funds rolling over each semester until graduation.

Food Dollars Plus, formerly known as Campus Cash, is an additional debit account that can be used at any dining location or retail food shop, saving students the 10.8% prepared meals sales tax. Food Dollars Plus can also be used in the snack or Coke vending machines on campus, but this account cannot be used off-campus. Funds roll over each semester until graduation and can only be used on Radford University’s main campus.

With Radford University Carilion joining the Radford family, there are even more places that the ONE Card is accepted. Visit the ONE Card website for a complete list of participating on- and off-campus merchants.

To get a ONE Card, students, faculty and staff must visit the ONE Card office, located at Heth Hall 152. In order receive the ONE Card, previously-issued RU Express cards must be surrendered to the ONE Card office.
