Member of Masters in Business Administration Student Association (MBASA) and graduate assistant with Radford University Conference Services

As an undergraduate student, Tori Robeson majored in accounting and minored in psychology. After graduation, she decided she wanted to enhance her business knowledge and broaden her career possibilities.  She soon discovered that Radford University’s Master of Business Administration would give her the education she needed to make her ambitions become realities.

“I have really benefited from the small class sizes,” she said. “I tend to learn from hands-on experiences. The smaller class sizes allow for more activities. You also get to know your classmates and professors better thanks to the individualized attention. The professors have been excellent and really reach out to every student and push us to succeed.”

As a member of Radford’s Masters in Business Administration Student Association (MBASA), Robeson has even more opportunities for hands-on learning. She also has a graduate assistantship with the university’s Conference Services office, which has helped her develop business skills that enhance her learning.

For prospective Radford University MBA applicants, Robeson gives this piece of advice, “Get to know the people in your program. Most classes have group projects or team assignments, so it helps getting to know the people you are going to spend a lot of time with.”
