Igor Ogrizek came to Radford University six years ago as an international student pursuing his undergraduate degree in computer science. He had been a stand out tennis player from his small European country of Croatia.

“Because I played tennis my whole life I always knew I wanted to come to the United States and play on high level Division I tennis team,” said Ogrizek. “Radford University had one of the best tennis programs I could find, so it was an easy choice for me.”

Not only was the Division I tennis program ideal to him, but Ogrizek also says it was the scenic location, small class sizes, and amazing faculty that drew him to RU.

After completing his undergraduate degree he decided to stay and pursue his MBA.

“I wanted to develop myself as a person that could work well with businessmen and programmers – to serve as a bridge between them,” he said. “My Radford University education will help me do just that.”

Now that he has completed the MBA program Ogrizek plans to return to Europe, specifically Germany, to obtain a business-oriented position in the IT field.
