Tax prep assistance program, supported by the Davis College, sees expansive growth in its second year
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which operates in part out of Kyle Hall and uses Radford student volunteers, filed returns for 777 people this year, a 94% increase over 2022.

“A gentle leader”: Friends, faculty and colleagues remember student Paulette Wright
The history and social science major died in a December traffic collision, just months before she would have graduated. A posthumous degree was presented in Wright’s name at commencement on May 6.

Radford, Brazilian teams join for research on Internet of Things

IRS training program offers a daylong “adrenaline shot” for business students, plus career prospects
About 50 students took part in the Davis College of Business and Economics’ tax academy, where they were coached by special agents in conducting interviews, forensic investigation of documents and even executing a raid on a shady business.
