Welcome to the Highlander Family! We can’t wait to welcome you to Radford University through Quest orientation!
We ask incoming new students to register for a Quest orientation date. Quest will establish your course schedule and also help you connect with other incoming Highlanders, advisors, and current students at Radford University. Family members will also have their own program providing the opportunity to engage with various members of our campus community. We will be communicating through email as dates get closer. University 100
UNIV 100 teaches incoming students the skills and resources they need to be successful here at Radford University. We cover academic skills, university policies & resources and personal topics. The classes are meant to be interactive with lots of discussion, small group activities and campus engagement events to help students make friends and feel comfortable doing what they need to as a student here.
Living-Learning Communities
Radford University offers seven unique freshman living-learning communities (LLC) (Biology Connections, ARO, Community of Artists, Community of Makers, The Schoolhouse, Entrepreneurship and ECO Connections) that provide students opportunities to deeply engage with faculty, academics and peers with similar interests.
Radford University Quest App (RU Mobile)
Radford University's RU Mobile app is the official app for Quest! You'll be able to interact with our faculty, staff, student leaders, and fellow Highlanders. Not to mention access your courses, grades, a campus map, our Radford Transit bus routes, your ONE Card balance, and so much more throughout your time at Radford University.
