Congratulations on your admittance to Radford University!  We are thrilled you made the decision to come to Radford.  New Student and Family Programs’ goal is to help students find success while making a smooth transition to our Highlander family.  Through Quest, our new student orientation program, UNIV 100, our course to help new students make a successful academic, personal, and social transition to Radford University and UNIV 150, our course to mentor students in academic recovery, we strive to provide the best support to our students and our families.

Apply to be a Quest Assistant (QA) today!


The Office of New Student and Family Programs is seeking QAs who will serve as mentors and role models to new students while assisting them during their Quest experience.  You will make many professional and social connections which will aid you throughout the rest of your time here and well into the future.  As a QA you will receive:

  • Housing during training and Quest
  • A meal plan during training and Quest
  • Free Radford University gear
  • And you get paid!  

It’s the best way to spend your summer, so don’t miss out!

At Radford University's Quest Student Orientation program, we’ll help you prepare for your college experience. During Quest, you will learn about more our campus, explore your academic program and work with an academic advisor to create your class schedule. Please see our session dates below:

Our spring Quest session will be held in January just before our spring 2020 semester begins.  Registration for January Quest will open in November.  Please watch your email for more details!
