Collection and Technical Services (CaTS) is the library department that handles acquisitions, cataloging, collection development, e-resources management, library systems, and stacks management. Direct responsiblities include overall CaTS management, budgeting, cataloging, and reporting.  Serve as backup in other tech services areas.

Education:
Master’s degree in Library Science, University of Pittsburgh
B.S., Geology, Virginia Tech
Earth and Space Science Teacher provisional certification, Virginia Tech

Collection Development Liaison to the Chemistry, Geology, Math, and Physics Departments.

“Jack of all trades, master of none,” however, some persistent personal interests include: serving others, popular science, classic films and TV, and reveling in pets and the natural world.
