More Information

All students are encouraged to use RU Texts: important, non-emergency type, text messages that provide targeted, important, timely reminders concerning university deadlines and other important information. You will not receive any spam texts. These messages will be sent out only through official university offices such as the Registrar, Bursar, Financial Aid or Residential Life.

Once you start receiving non-emergency text messages, you can reply HELP at any time for help.

Opting Out of RU Texts

If you choose to opt out of non-emergency texting, simply reply to a non-emergency text sent from Radford with one of these trigger words: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. You will receive one final automated message confirming that the opt out has occurred.

Each office has it's own texting number so you will only be opting out of the office you replied STOP for.

The trigger word may be upper or lower case, but the text message must only contain the trigger word itself.
