Professional Service Roles
Dr. Kolb currently serves as a delegate to the APTA House of Delegates for 2022 for the state of Virginia. He also serves as the AAOMPT Academic and Clinical Faculty SIG president. He has served the Virginia Chapter of APTA as a two-term Treasurer and on the Board of Directors for eight years. His research interests include Knowledge Translation for best methods of teaching psychomotor skills and pain management assessment. He has received grant funding for the implementation of clinical practice guidelines for low back pain within regional health care systems and for the study of pain education. Dr. Kolb has presented nationally for the APTA Combined Sections meeting, at AAOMPT and regionally for the Virginia chapter.
