Brief Bio

I am interested in identifying and promoting healthy patterns of postural alignment in varied populations.  Bipedal standing alignment may serve as an “upstream” indicator of neuromotor function; however, empirical methods of defining normal postural alignment are imprecise and have led to diverging accounts of what should be observed.  My research seeks to identify behavioral correlates of adaptive vs. maladaptive alignment in relation to pathology and/or intervention.
