In compliance with the Department of Education “Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund Reporting–HEERF II Radford University verifies the following:

An acknowledgement that the institution signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that the institution has used, or intends to use, no less than 50 percent of the funds received under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
Radford University acknowledges that the Certification and Agreement was originally signed on April 10, 2020 and submitted to the Department of Education via grants.gov on April 13, 2020. As of September 30, 2021 we have received an updated grant award notification (GAN) for CRRSAA. Radford University intends to use, no less than 50 percent of the funds received under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
The total amount of funds that the institution will receive or has received from the Department pursuant to the institution’s Certification and Agreement [for] Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.
Radford University has been allocated $4,546,102 in G5 for the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA).
The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) as of the date of submission (i.e., as of the 30-day Report and every 45 days thereafter).
As of September 30, 2021, Radford University has distributed $4,456,102 in Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) financial aid grants to students.
The estimated total number of students at the institution eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA).
As of September 30, 2021, Radford University the estimated number of students eligible to participate is 7,800 students.
The total number of students who have received a Financial Aid Grant to students under CRRSAA.
As of September 30, 2021, Radford University has distributed 4,644 Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
The method(s) used by the institution to determine which students receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants and how much they would receive under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021.
As of September 30, 2021 the methodology for awarding the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 the remaining CRRSAA funding was combined with the ARP funding and utilized under the award strategy defined for ARP: HEERF III Award Program. The methodology for awarding was released on September 7, 2021 on this website as well as via email to all eligible students.
Any instructions, directions, or guidance provided by the institution to students concerning the Emergency Financial Aid Grants.
All eligible students were notified via email regarding their eligibility for a financial aid award through the combined award program on September 7, 2021, and September 17, 2021. Additionally, this website is regularly updated and available for all Radford University students and will include on instructions, directions and guidance related to the award programs.This is the final report for CRRSAA reporting as all funds have been distributed to students.
