Due to the current surge in COVID cases, the Office of Financial Aid is encouraging students to utilize virtual appointments to connect with a team member.  We can be reached through any of the following methods:

Important Deadlines

The 2022-2023 FAFSA is now open!

December 10, 2021 - Priority application deadline to receive FAFSA's for students who will enroll for the first time in Spring 2022.  

January 3, 2022 - Priority deadline for the Financial Aid Office to receive a Private Education loan certification request or Parent PLUS loan application to assist with spring charges.

January 18, 2022 - First day of Spring Semester 2022

February 1, 2022 - Priority application deadline for Radford University to finalize your FAFSA for the 2022-2023 school year!


Weekly Announcement

We are processing 2022-2023 submitted FAFSA's.  We began notifying students of required verification documents the week of November 15th.  Watch your Radford University email for additional information requests!

Award notices for students who will enroll for the first time in August 2022 are being mailed on a weekly basis.

Review your financial aid status on OneCampus.  Search Award by Aid Year and review the information for 2022-2023 to determine your aid status for the next school year.

Office Availability

The main campus office is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.  We are located on the first floor of Heth Hall.

The financial aid office team is always available to assist you with any questions you may have from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.  We can be reached at 540-831-5408 or by emailing finaid@radford.edu.  You can also text the financial aid team at 540-328-9360.

RUC Campus Financial Aid is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.  You must clear the required hospital protocol for entering the facility in order to visit the RUC Financial Aid Office.

We also encourage all Radford University Carilion students, to connect with the RUC Financial Aid team by email at rucfinancialaid@radford.edu or by calling and leaving a message at 540-985-8483, messages will be returned by a team member.

The CARES Act Information
