Passenger Van Training
We are transitioning from classroom style training to an on line training format and using a program recommended/ provided by Dept of General Services-Fleet Management Services. This Fleet Driver Safety and Policy Lesson course is accessed through the Commonwealth of Virginia Learning Center. Upon successful completion, the student receives a certificate that can be printed and retained for documentation.
Participants need to email EHS at firstname.lastname@example.org with a copy of their certification and also their employee/student ID number. The information will be shared with Facilities Management that will serve as verification which is required to rent and/or drive a van.
Certification remains current as long as the holder drives a van for a minimum of 15 miles per year and is an employee/student of Radford University.
