Graduation 2017


Radford University Chemistry Department had its largest graduating class ever for the 2017 commencement this past Saturday with 33 students receiving bachelor degrees with concentrations in professional chemistry, biochemistry and forensic chemistry. Students, faculty, and parents gathered on Moffett lawn for the graduation ceremony which included speeches from the University President Dr. Brian Hemphill and commencement speaker Frank Beamer. Department graduates will pursue a number of exciting opportunities including attending graduate school in chemistry or health related fields while many have already accepted positions in industry.
