    Ideas for increasing internship opportunities and hands-on work experiences for Highlanders dominated the discussion when the president of the Virginia Business Higher Education Council (VBHEC) met with a group of Radford University students, educators and administrators on April 5.

  3. Nutrition and dietetics major scores coveted spot in summer research program »


    Leah Ellis, a sophomore, is the only external student participating in the Virginia Tech program this year, and she marks the first TOUR-Scholar to represent Radford University. Under a grant from the National Institute of Health, Ellis will research the effects of non-nutritive sweeteners on the human body, among other tasks.

    A tradition that is in its 23rd year, Advocacy Day allows students to share the importance of their state-supported education with General Assembly members, and to ask elected representatives to consider voting for legislation that would benefit the university.
