Radford University associate professor of special education Darren Minarik, Ph.D., has been appointed to serve on the Disability Rights Advocates (DRA) board of directors.
Sarah Chase M.S. ‘18 has an unquenchable thirst for teaching. She’s not content, at the moment however, with being in one setting, or teaching a particular subject. She’s on the move, imparting her knowledge and utilizing the skills she gained at Radford University to students around the world.
Two students in Radford University’s Doctor of Education program have written essays that will soon be published in prestigious peer-reviewed academic journals.
Radford University associate professor of Recreation, Parks and Tourism Josh Carroll, Ph.D., was the recipient of the Outstanding Professor Award and two Excellence in Research Awards given by the Resort and Commercial Recreation Association at its virtual national conference in November.
Radford University has partnered with NASA to launch a new yearlong virtual Teacher Ambassador program designed for secondary math educators to gain STEM-related skills to take back to their classrooms and disseminate to their students and colleagues.
