NUTRITION AND DIETETICS
A SOLID FOUNDATION
The nutrition and dietetics major at Radford University is designed to prepare students for supervised practice in post-graduate internships that lead to registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) credentialing. 100% of Radford's Nutrition and Dietetics graduates applying to accredited dietetic internships have been accepted and placed in prestigious programs throughout the United States.
Students in the nutrition and dietetics major start with a strong foundation in biology and chemistry before progressing to classes that explore the science, medical and cultural considerations of food and nutrition.
Our program’s close-knit environment gives students the opportunity to create strong bonds not only with other students in the program, but with faculty as well.
