In Radford University’s Department of Dance, we promote an individualized and compassionate education designed to help you develop the skills needed for a variety of career paths.

We believe in nurturing students’ critical and creative thinking through both artistic and academic endeavors. At Radford, you’ll enjoy access to ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, tap, musical theatre and Korean dance styles.

• Our Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance prepares students to be performers, choreographers, teachers and graduate students. 
• For those interested in a double major, you’ll find our Bachelor of Arts in Dance pairs well with programs such as allied health sciences, to prepare for physical therapy or occupational therapy masters programs; psychology, to prepare for dance therapy masters’ programs; or business, for dance administration professions. 
• Our new and innovative Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance (Dance Entrepreneurship Concentration) is perfect for students seeking a professional degree that includes business courses to prepare them to be private and nonprofit studio owners, studio teachers and dance administrators.
