Our main campus, located in Radford, Virginia offers more than 100 academic programs across six academic colleges. Students on our medium-sized campus of nearly 10,000 enjoy a close-knit community, 300+ student organizations, 15 residence halls and a focus on high-impact opportunities.
In Fall 2019, Radford University Carilion (RUC), located in Roanoke, Virginia joined our university family. RUC offers students interested in the health sciences a clinic-based environment with just over 1,000 students set inside a hospital setting from day one.
We are excited to announce, beginning with Fall 2021 applicants, Radford University will not require standardized test scores (SAT or ACT) for admission. Students may choose to submit test scores as part of their application; however, students that choose to apply test optional will not be at a disadvantage in the review process.

Are you interested in one of our healthcare programs located in Roanoke, VA? Freshman and transfer students can apply online as an undergraduate applicant at RUC.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will review and offer you admission to the university. Some programs require additional application materials for you to be a full program participant. Learn more about the programs that require additional application materials or an audition.
College of Business and Economics
All business majors are required to complete a pre-business program prior to admission to a business major. Most of the courses in the pre-business program consist of courses in the general education requirements. In addition to the pre-business program, there is a common set of core classes which all business majors must complete for the B.B.A. degree.

College of Education and Human Development
Students considering majors in Education or Nutrition & Dietetics will be required to complete the defined prerequisites and application process as defined by each department.
College of Visual and Performing Arts
