Response Testing Center
In response to the needs of the faculty and in order to more effectively support our students’ success this semester, a Response Testing Center has been established for use by students who need to take proctored tests on campus in a secure and quiet environment. The Testing Center is located in Young Hall 311 and will be supported by the Academic Success Center (ASC). In compliance with current social distancing guidelines, the center can support workstations for eight (8) students at any given time during its hours of operation.
Based on staffing availability, the center’s hours of operation for the spring semester are as follows:
- Monday 9:00am-7:00pm
- Tuesday 10:00am-4:00pm
- Wednesday 11:00am-7:00pm
- Thursday 11:00am-5:00pm
At this time, tests will be proctored by appointment only. Faculty will be required to register their student(s) for a seat in the center by completing a short form. Once the faculty has submitted the form, the student must sign-up in Starfish to schedule their appointment. Proctor request forms and all testing materials can be hand delivered to the 3rd floor of Young Hall (ASC reception desk) or scanned and emailed to email@example.com. The testing center is only responsible for the space and proctor. All communication about the exam, testing window, and scheduling a seat via Starfish is the responsibility of the faculty member.
The ASC looks forward to supporting both faculty and students through this service for the remainder of the Spring 2021 semester.
