Drone research
In spring 2018, the CITL began a drone research program in which both large and small models are being used for activities such as simulations, photography, flight protocol development, and battery life extension. Those original goals have evolved into a general drone aviation education program. An ultimate goal of the program is to interface with faculty, students and classes on campus that have an interest in the use of drone technology. Those interested should contact citl@radford.edu.
