Officially launched in fall 2019, Studio One is a small production space operated by CITL student interns to facilitate the creation of media for teaching, learning and professional development. The studio is an acoustically reinforced space that features resources including a teleprompter with HD camcorder; live video capture station; black, white and green screen backdrops; audio recording and mixing desk; lightboard; studio lighting; microphones available for in-house use; and, Oculus Rift VR and gaming stations.
Studio One is available for faculty, staff and student use. Clients to date include students hosting their own podcast; faculty recording lesson modules; student groups producing TV ads and short programs for class; students creating product pitches; music and sound production; and, voiceover work.
Patrons wishing to learn more about the space should contact email@example.com to make an appointment to speak with a staff member. An orientation is required of all first-time users, and reservations to use the space must be made in advance. Clients needing assistance must consult with a staff member ahead of time to ensure availability of help.
