Officially launched in fall 2018, Studio One is a small production space operated by CITL staff and student interns to facilitate the creation of media for teaching, learning and professional development. The studio is an acoustically reinforced space that features resources including a teleprompter; black, white and green screens; audio recording and mixing desk; lightboard; studio lighting; microphones and cameras available for in-house use; and, Oculus Rift VR and gaming stations.

Studio One is available for faculty, staff and student use. CITL interns are trained to engineer audio and video sessions. Patrons wishing to learn more about the space should contact citl@radford.edu to make an appointment with a CITL staff member to discuss their project goals. Clients needing assistance must consult with a staff member ahead of time to ensure availability of help. An orientation is required of all first-time users, and reservations to use the space must be made in advance. RU ID required for entrance and to use any equipment in-house.
