The Virginia Mathematics College and Career Readiness Performance Expectations Overview The Mathematics College and Career Readiness Performance Expectations are organized into four interacting and overlapping categories (strands) including content from algebra and functions, statistics, geometry, mathematical analysis, and trigonometry. This particular strand structure is one of several ways the performance expectations can be organized. The structure is not intended to be a curriculum organizer, as each expectation interacts with many others in a range of problem-solving, modeling, and decision-making situations. The highest priority performance expectations or "capstone-drivers" are indicated by a small capstone symbol at the end of each expectation. The four strands are listed below. |
