Exams and Quizzes

Exam2 is cumulative; each of the ten problems is from the book, and is similar to a problem on the homework.
(No questions about Finite State Machines, as I haven't given you your hw14 back.)

Exam2 due 2007.Dec.14 (Fri) 12:00. The exam is take-home 3-hours, open-book, open-note, closed internet. You may refer to the course web page for this semester, and any file it references, but no other web pages.

When you are ready to start: exam2—final exam
exam1 practice exam (format and questions similar to the actual exam1).
practice solutions for those problems which don't have solutions in Rosen.)

Download only when ready to start the 90-minute ¹ exam: exam1
When finished, either: scan/photo your paper and email it to me (preferred), or just let me know you have finished it, and will bring the hardcopy to class on Tuesday.
I will post solutions as soon as everybody has completed the exam.

¹ the exam should take less than 60min, but I don't want time-pressure to be an issue. ↩
