Solution: Student.java

We will continue yesterday's lab about Student objects, adding on to the requirements there.

Turn in whatever you have done today (for attendence purposes) on WebCT > Assignments > lab06b. at the end of lab. I won't grade or check off the lab, but do come by office hours if you are unable to complete it, since the class will otherwise assume we are comfortable with calling constructors, taking in objects as arguments, returning objects as return-values (including calling a constructor from inside a function), and accessing an object's fields.

• Complete sameMajorAs and onDeansList.

• Write test cases, a stub, and finally a correct implementation of max(Student,Student) which takes in two Students and returns the one with the higher gpa. If the gpa's are tied, return the Student with more credit hours. (If they are still tied, you can return either one.)

  Challenge: If they tie for gpa and credit hours, then choose the one who comes first alphabetically; you can call Object120.compareTo(String,String) and check whether the int it returns is negative, zero, or positive corresponding to the first String being less, equal, or greater than the second alphabetically.

• Write tests, a stub, and finally a correct implementation of enrollNewStudent which takes in a name and sid, and returns a new Student with 0 hours enrolled and a 4.0gpa.
