I am an educator and finance professional with over 15 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, and financial research. My expertise includes applying machine learning and advanced statistical methods to extract insights from complex datasets. My research focuses on bridging academic theory with real-world applications, particularly in equities, macro-finance, and portfolio analytics.

My research is focused on investments, particularly the performance of mutual funds. My research has been published in top-tier academic and practitioner journals, including The Journal of Financial Research, The Journal of Investing, Financial Services Review, The Journal of Asset Management, and Managerial Finance. In addition to teaching and research, I am actively involved in advising and consulting on security selection and portfolio management to non-profit organizations. Currently, I serve as the faculty advisor to the Student Managed Investment Portfolio Organization (SMIPO) at Radford University. SMIPO is managing over $1.5 million of the Radford University Foundation's assets.
