University Breaks & Closings

Thanksgiving Break 2023

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17 - SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2023

  • Residence Halls close Friday, November 17, 2023 at 5:00pm
  • Only students with approved Break Housing are allowed to remain on campus. Those eligible may submit a request on the Housing Portal.
  • Halls re-open Sunday, November 26, 2023 at 12:00pm

Winter Break 2023

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2023 - SATURDAY, JANUARY 13, 2024

  • University Housing closes Friday, December 8, 2023 at 5:00pm
  • Students continuing from Fall 2023 to Spring 2024 may leave belongings in their room
  • Only students with approved Break Housing are allowed to remain on campus. Those eligible may submit a request on the Housing Portal.
  • Halls re-open Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 12:00pm

Spring Break 2024

FRIDAY, MARCH 1 - SUNDAY, MARCH 10, 2024

  • Residence Halls close Friday, March 1, 2024 at 5:00pm
  • Only students with approved Break Housing are allowed to remain on campus. Those eligible may submit a request on the Housing Portal.
  • Halls re-open Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 12:00pm

May Closing 2024

FRIDAY, MAY 3, 2024

  • All University Housing (including Apartments) close Friday, May 3, 2024 at 5:00pm
  • Students who are graduating may submit an Extended Stay request on the Housing Portal

Housing Application & Room Selection Dates

Returning Students

  • November 1, 2023: The 2024-2025 Housing Application opens!
  • February 2, 2024: Returning student priority application deadline. Sign the Residential Student Agreement by February 2, 2024 to participate in online room selection.
  • Late-February: You will receive room selection timeslots information. Timeslots are allocated to priority applicants based on class standing and housing obligation.

New & Transfer Students

  • November 1, 2023: The 2024-2025 Housing Application opens!
  • More dates and information for new students coming soon!

Move-In Dates

Spring 2024

Summer 2024
