Promote the acculturation to campus of resident students, their adjustment into the academic and social systems of the residence community, their learning and personal development, and their retention and academic success at the university. Assume responsibility for daily resident student life response including crisis response/management, manage programming budget and approve all purchasing within allocated budget, advise hall council, lead HRL departmental committees (e.g. staff recognition, advising RHA/NRHH), adjudicate student misconduct cases and determine appropriate sanctioning, on occasion instruct credit bearing course (i.e. RA Class).
Work Crew staff members are graduate or undegraduate members of the Office of Housing and Residential Life staff who work in the residence halls throughout the school year providing support to RDs, RAs, and residents by ensuring all residence hall student rooms are ready for occupancy, administrative tasks such as storage room inventories, and completing work order requests.
