Oct. 1, 2020 Update
Effective Dec. 1, 2020, MyRU will be decommissioned. All users are encouraged to begin using OneCampus to become familiar with the functionality.

Radford University is excited to introduce OneCampus, a modern, mobile-friendly online portal that will streamline the way users access and connect with many of the University’s campus services. You are invited to start exploring OneCampus now.

OneCampus will replace MyRU later this year. The upgrade is necessary due to the outdated interface and technology behind MyRU.

OneCampus will serve as a virtual hub where students, faculty, staff and administrators can access dozens of campus directories, notifications, applications and useful information relevant to daily campus life. The portal allows users to easily navigate commonly used tools, such as email, Handshake, Desire 2 Learn (D2L) and the newly implemented COVID-19 Symptom Tracker.

“Information Technology Services is pleased to introduce the new campus portal, OneCampus, to the University community,” said Ed Oakes, associate vice president for Information Technology Services and CIO. “This upgrade reflects our commitment to providing the campus community with the latest technologies and tools that support success, inside and outside of the classroom. This new system is more mobile-friendly and provides the campus community with the ability to quickly search and find the correct system or link to conduct business.”

OneCampus has a modern and manageable interface, as well as a powerful search capability. It is hosted on Amazon Web Services – a secure and widely used hosting platform.

A standout feature of the portal includes the ability to mark “favorites” for quick access to commonly used services. OneCampus is also fully mobile-responsive, allowing users on different devices to enjoy the same experience.

MyRU will remain available to users until October 2020. At that time, all MyRU requests will automatically redirect to OneCampus. Running MyRU and OneCampus concurrently until October will provide time for campus offices to review and update documentation or training materials and time for all users to explore the new features available with OneCampus.

A link in the MyRU portal message area will give easy access to OneCampus for users to try out the platform and start using it in place of MyRU. Users can also use the direct link, onecampus.radford.edu, and add the link to their favorites/bookmarks.

Links to OneCampus will also be available on the following sites:

Later this fall, the current MyRU button on the main website will be changed to OneCampus.
