Explore the upcoming Major and Minors Fair

Majors and Minors Fair

The Majors and Minors Fair will be held Sept. 25 from 1-3 p.m. on the lower level of Heth Hall and is open to pre-majors, as well as students who have already declared a major or minor.

Students can explore majors, minors, academic programs, student engagement opportunities and student resources, as well as gain information about scholarships and academic organizations at Radford University.

More than 70 academic programs will be at the fair and all programs will have a representative on-hand to answer questions about their respective departments.

Rachel Hall, senior assistant director of advising, said that it is important for students to come prepared.

“In order to have a meaningful conversation with the program representatives, it’s important for students to be intentional with the tables they visit and to be prepared with questions,” Hall said. “It’s also a great time for students to have face-to-face interactions with faculty from across campus. Everything is available in one place at one time.”

The Majors and Minors Fair gives students the opportunity to explore Radford University’s diverse degree programs, Hall said.

“Faculty, professional advisors and staff volunteer their time to help students learn more about academic requirements, careers, campus resources and graduate programs. It’s a wonderful resource for new and continuing students,” she said.
