Explore the upcoming Major and Minors Fair

Pre-major and minor fair

The Majors and Minors Fair will be held on Oct. 10 from 1-3 p.m. on the lower level of Heth Hall and is open to pre-majors, as well as students who have already declared a major or minor.

Students can explore majors, minors, academic programs, student engagement opportunities and student resources, as well as gain information about scholarships and academic organizations at Radford University.

Representatives from more than 70 academic programs will be at the fair to answers questions about their department.

Rachel Hall, assistant director of Advising, said that it is important for students to come prepared.

“In order to have a meaningful conversation with the program representatives, it’s important for students to be intentional with the tables they visit and to be prepared with questions,” Hall said.

The Majors and Minors Fair gives students the opportunity to explore Radford University’s diverse degree programs, Hall said.

“Faculty, professional advisors and staff volunteer their time to help students learn more about academic requirements, careers, campus resources and graduate programs. It’s a wonderful resource for new and continuing students,” she said.
