The Political Science Department is continuing the tradition of open political discussion by hosting an open forum to discuss President Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office.

The forum, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on April 5 in the Bonnie Auditorium, maintains Radford University’s hands-on experiential learning approach.

“Engaging in meaningful discussion is the first step down the path of becoming a participant in our political process,” said Nick Jackson, president of the Political Science Society. “As citizens, we must be involved and aware of our nation’s political process.”

A panel consisting of Radford University Professors Scott Dunn, Thomas Duncan, Luke William Hunt and Theresa Schroeder will headline the open forum.

The panel will give a summary of three pre-defined topics of the economy, health care and immigration to the audience before taking questions.

The event is open to the Radford University campus community and is sponsored by the Political Science Society and the Club Programming Committee. Food and drinks are provided.
