Radford University Sustainability hosting Speed Storytelling Night

Radford University Sustainability is hosting a series of Speed Storytelling presentations at 6 p.m., April 17, in Heth Hall 016. Admission is free.

Students and faculty will use automatically advancing slides to present on “sustainability and environmental topics they are passionate about,” said Sustainability Manager Josh Nease.

Topics and presenters include:

·       Madagascar hissing cockroaches – Erin Dudley.

·       Dam removal in Virginia – Rick Roth, professor and chair of the Department of Geospatial Sciences.

·       How recreation and tourism are providing a new economy for Appalachia – Josh Carroll, assistant professor of Recreation, Parks and Tourism.

·       RARE experiences in Peru – Joyce Caughron, assistant professor of biology.

·       Water shortages in the western cape of South Africa – Josh Nease, Sustainability manager.
