Info, food and zips in store for Club Fair 2014

A record-high number of student organizations will be represented at Radford University's Club Fair, scheduled for Friday, Aug. 29, from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

Nearly 200 clubs will join 15 RU offices/departments and 31 local businesses on Heth Lawn at the annual event.

Domino's and Papa John's will give away free pizza, and the Student Activities department will provide drinks.

New to the fair this year is a zip line, which will be assembled in front of McConnell Library. Participants will zip from about 25 feet up, down a line about 200 feet long at the edge of Heth Lawn. The zip line will operate from 3-6 p.m. and is co-sponsored by Radford Student Programming and Campus Events (R-SPaCE) and Student Organization Assistance and Resources (SOAR).
