Brand new workout equipment comes to Peters Hall

Students and faculty may have noticed a big change in the Peters Hall Fitness Center with the addition of 25 brand new cardio workout machines.

The new Nautilus® equipment replaces the older treadmills, bikes, ellipticals and stair steppers.

“They’re a great addition,” said sophomore Haley Hogan. “This was a great idea because we needed some new equipment.”

Although the older machines provided a good workout, students and faculty would sometimes have to deal with broken displays and differences in quality from machine to machine. Now those problems are a thing of the past thanks to the upgrade.

Both Hogan and her friend sophomore Samm Feagin thought that the Fitness Center looked much better than before.

“It looks really nice in here now with everything working,” Feagin said. “I can’t wait to use it all!”
