Voting easier for students with the use of TurboVote

Vote

With the Virginia General Election approaching, a new, easier way for students to vote has hit the Radford University campus.

TurboVote is a new web-based service that simplifies the voter registration and absentee voting processes and ensures all prospective voters have the information they need for Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

For registered voters, the Virginia deadline to submit an absentee ballot for the general election is Tuesday, Oct. 29. The last day a voter can sign up for TurboVote and receive an absentee ballot is Wednesday, Oct. 23. TurboVote sends all the forms and information needed to participate in absentee voting, including instructions to print and mail ballots.

Virginia 21, a non-partisan organization that provides information and support to young voters and students, assisted in bringing TurboVote to Radford University.
