About Makers and Innovators

Beyond the classroom and faculty-student collaborations, students at Radford University engage in Making through a variety of challenges, competitions, workshops, and events sponsored by student clubs and other organizations. Some of these events include the American Society of Interior Designers student club and Fashion Society’s yearly Making challenges; the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning’s campus-wide Film Challenge; the COBE BB&T Innovation Competition, and students serving as mentors to area middle and high-schoolers in the Battlebots! competition. Makers and Innovators are also supported by the Center for Innovation and Analytics Student Venture Lab.
