2018 Employee Benefits Fair - Thank You!

The Department of Human Resources would like to thank everyone who took the time to attend the Benefits Fair on October 11, 2018 in the Muse Hall Ballroom. We had another successful year hosting more than 30 local vendors. More than 300 employees attended with approximately 200 employees taking advantage of the Walgreens on-site flu clinic.

Congratulations to the winners of door prizes and drawings sponsored by many of the vendors. We look forward to another successful Employee Benefits Fair next year!

Introducing the VLC Help Desk Request

As a full-time Radford University employee you are automatically provided access to the VLC (Virginia Learning Center). However, if you are a student, wage or part-time employee you will need to request a VLC account.

In addition, if you are having difficulties logging on, accessing training or any other VLC questions, you can now submit an online request for assistance through a VLC Help Desk Request. Please visit the Training Registration/Virginia Learning Center (VLC) link to access the VLC Help Desk Request.

PeopleAdmin SelectSuite Training

The New Employee/Beginner course will be offered to all new employees and anyone who has never used the PeopleAdmin system before. It is a basic skills course (logon, user groups, navigation, etc.). For the New Employee/Beginner course, you will be able to attend while remaining in your own space by simply signing onto the course. A desktop, laptop or mobile device is required with sound. A microphone of some sort is recommended if you wish to actively participate. The New Employee/Beginner course is a prerequisite for the Intermediate course which will include flow of actions, position modification, managing applicants, hiring proposals and more. The Intermediate course will be taught in person and hands on. Dates, times, and location for the training sessions are located on the HR Training website. Registration is required.

Have you Completed your Mandatory Training?

You can find the list of trainings at the HR Training website. Registration is not required.
