Late Timesheet/Leave Report Submittal and Approvals
All employees need to be aware and adhere to the deadlines for submitting timesheets and leave reports. Additionally, supervisors should be attentive to the deadlines for having their employees’ timesheets approved. Late submission and approvals delay the leave process for the entire campus. If you are a supervisor and do not have a proxy set up, please make sure you set one up as soon as possible. Performance Management Training

VRS Member News
The Virginia Retirement System is implementing changes to the myVRS system to provide VRS defined benefit participants new features to facilitate the retirement process. Later this year, members getting ready to retire will be able to complete the retirement process online in a more simplified and streamlined process. Members are encouraged to subscribe to the VRS Member News for the latest updates and retirement information. We are pleased to send you the link to the VRS Member News. Update Your Mailing Address before Health Insurance & Flexible Spending Open Enrollment
Open enrollment is tentatively scheduled for May 1, 2019 through May 15, 2019. The DHRM Office of Health Benefits will once again mail open enrollment information directly to eligible employees at the address listed in the Benefits Eligibility System. In order to prevent any delays in receiving open enrollment information, please ensure your mailing address is up-to-date in the RU Portal. We anticipate DHRM mailings to begin in late April, so ensure your address is correct. Additional information regarding Open Enrollment will be released as it is received by our office. myVRS now offers improved services and security for your personal and financial information. You may run “what if” retirement estimates that use the information in your VRS member account, as well as explore available retirement options. Access to your myVRS account is the first step. If you already have an existing myVRS account, you can log in with your user name and password and then complete the identity authentication steps to access the site. If you do not have a myVRS account, you will need to register at myVRS from the Members tab at www.varetire.org. Weight Watchers (WW)
Your participation matters. To keep WW Wellness Workshops at your workplace, your attendance is needed. Staying on track is easier than ever with support and motivation from your WW Wellness Coach and colleagues. Keep attending. Keep up your momentum. Purchase a WW membership between April 1, 2019 and April 19, 2019 and get a FREE starter kit. Attend your WW Workshop at Radford University every Thursday at 12:15 p.m. in the HR Conference Room. Staff Senate Meeting
The Staff Senate meeting will be held in the Bonnie Combo Room at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Any changes will be communicated.
