Probationary Plan and Review Program

The Probationary Plan and Review Program is now live.  For those supervisors who were unable to do a performance plan for their probationary employees, it can now be accessed and completed in PeopleAdmin SelectSuite. The performance plan is completed exactly as the classified performance plans were completed earlier in the year.  Any actions that need to be completed will appear as actions in your employee portal. The form for the probationary reviews contain the same content except in an electronic form and will follow the electronic approval/acknowledgement route. If you have any questions, please call or email Theresa Slaughter or Jenene Lewis.

HR Training Sessions

Electronic Personnel Action Form (EPAF) training is an overview of the EPAF online system. EPAFs are used to submit personnel actions electronically in Banner. Many of the transactions previously submitted to Human Resources via PR40 (Personnel Action) and PR4 (Separation/Transfer Notice) forms can be electronically submitted, routed through an approval chain, and applied in Banner. EPAFs are another step in achieving a paperless personnel action process. Registration is required. Please contact Nishy Mathew at nmathew2@radford.edu to register. A session will be held in the HR Conference Room on the following date:

  • Friday, March 16, 2018 @ 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

PeopleAdmin SelectSuite training is recommended for all employees who work in the SelectSuite system. The PeopleAdmin SelectSuite system is designed to allow users to track the applicant and recruitment process. The Applicant Tracking module streamlines the recruitment process with transparent communication and consistent hiring processes. The Position Management module allows users to modify and manage position descriptions. The training sessions will be hands on and in a computer lab. The locations of each class may vary. Please see the HR Training website for specific locations of each class. You MUST pre-register for the class. They will be held on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, March 13, 2018 @ 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 10, 2018 @ 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

To register for training, please visit the Virginia Learning Center (VLC).
