Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is on Monday, January 15, 2018. In observance of the holiday, Radford University offices will be closed. Employees required to work this day will earn hour-for-hour compensatory time up to the maximum of 8 hours.
Performance Plans Due
As a reminder, completed performance plans for A/P and staff are due by January 12, 2018. They are to be completed in the new PeopleAdmin SelectSuite system. Statement of Economic Interest Disclosure
If you have been notified by HR that you are required to file your Statement of Economic Interest Disclosure, the deadline is fast approaching. Keep in mind there have also been several updates in legislature over the last year. In addition, sometimes the automatic emails from the Ethics Council can look odd and be overlooked or even be automatically sent to your junk folder. The emails will come from this address, Ethics Council firstname.lastname@example.org. If you feel you have missed an email notification, please contact us as soon as possible.

Virginia Museum of Natural History Offers Free Admission to Dinosaurs: Reign of the Giants
Governor Terry McAuliffe announced that the Virginia Museum of Natural History (VMNH) is offering state employees free admission to the exhibit Dinosaurs: Reign of the Giants from January 3, 2018 to May 28, 2018. This exhibit features fossils and casts of Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Tenontosaurus, and more. In addition to free admission, this special offer includes a 10 percent discount on purchases in the VMNH Museum Store and PALEO Café.
