An EPAF is an Electronic Personnel Action Form in Self Service Banner (SSB), used to enter and submit personnel actions electronically in Banner. Many of the transactions previously submitted to Human Resources via PR40 (Personnel Action) and PR4 (Separation/Transfer Notice) forms can be electronically submitted, routed through an approval chain, and applied to Banner. EPAFs are another step in achieving a paperless personnel action process.

The Department of Human Resources is pleased to announce the rollout of the new PeopleAdmin SelectSuite Applicant Tracking and Position Management modules. Classified Staff, Administrative/Professional Faculty, Adjuncts and 1500 hour wage positions is live on August 15, 2017. Teaching and Research Faculty is scheduled to go live in September 2017.
Designed to allow users to track the applicant and recruitment process, the Applicant Tracking module streamlines the recruitment process while supporting transparent communication and consistent hiring processes. The Position Management module allows users to modify and manage position descriptions and electronically perform other personnel actions including budget changes, pay changes and requests to advertise.
To introduce the campus community to the new modules, a comprehensive training schedule has been designed featuring both a demonstration format and a hands-on training format. In order to ensure the campus community is best served, training is available for those employees who currently have access to initiate and approve actions and hiring proposals in PeopleAdmin. Registration for the PeopleAdmin trainings are available through the Virginia Learning Center (VLC). You may access the schedule and register through the VLC.
All postings and actions for modifications on or after August 15, 2017 will be added to the new PeopleAdmin SelectSuite.
