Radford University is a comprehensive public university on a beautiful 204-acre American classical campus, The University offers 76 bachelor’s degree programs three associate degrees, and six certificates at the undergraduate level; 28 master's programs and six doctoral programs at the graduate level; and 14 post-baccalaureate certificates and one post-master's certificate. A Division I member of the NCAA and Big South Conference, Radford University competes in 16 men’s and women’s varsity athletics.  Radford University also offers a clinical-based educational experience in Roanoke, Virginia as part of Radford University Carilion, a public-private partnership focused on the cutting-edge delivery of health sciences programming, outreach and service.

Radford is located Virginia's New River Valley is situated between the Blue Ridge Mountains to the south, and the Appalachian Mountains to the north, and is home to the nation’s oldest river, the New River.   New River Valley includes the City of RadfordPulaski County, Montgomery CountyFloyd County, and Giles County.  We have a strong heritage and pride embedded in our roots, historical and cultural attractions, and scenic vistas.
