Unix Lab

The school maintains a Unix lab located in Davis Hall, room 225, which is primarily used for majors to complete Computer Science assignments and for teaching major courses. The lab currently contains 30 Apple iMacs, all of which are connected to the University network. There are also two printers for student use. UPE also maintains a library of computer science books which may be used in the lab. There is also a wide variety of magazines available for research and general reading.

The lab is open to any students enrolled in Computer Science classes (CPSC120 or above) anytime the lab is open. There are times which the lab is reserved for classes and these hours are posted each Friday for the following week.

Student workers in the lab are normally hired in late spring semester for the next year (including summer).
