Technology is everywhere. In 1999 the Virginia Governor's Commission on Information Technology estimated the Commonwealth had 30,000 person shortage in IT positions, and nation wide the need was 10 times greater. Salaries were - and still are- skyrocketing with offers around 45,000- 55,000 per year at entry level. So the question is not will you be needed but where do you want to go. Our alumni have gone to work at companies such as Philip Morris, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, Warner Brothers, The National Institutes of Health, Volvo, Oracle, Kodak and First Union.
