Tamera Riffle, an undergraduate researcher working in the lab of Dr. Francis Webster, received recognition for her outstanding poster presentation at the Spring 2019 American Chemical Society (ACS) national meeting.

The ACS Division of Colloid and Surface Chemistry sponsored a poster competition recognizing outstanding student poster presentations. Four winners were chosen, representing undergraduates and graduate students. This year, less than 5% of the 150 posters presented were authored by undergraduates. Tamera won with her poster titled “Self-Assembly of Functionalized Carbon Nanoparticles on Polyurethane Foam for Low-Cost Water Purification.”
