Research Interests:
My research focuses on the development of bioinspired materials for drug delivery applications. I am interested in studying the design and synthesis of supramolecular hydrogels along with the subsequent loading and release of therapeutics. This project incorporates a combination of peptide synthesis, biochemistry, and analytical techniques. Another interest of mine is environmental chemistry, such as quantify the presence of industrial byproducts and hormones in the New River Valley.
