Research Interests:
American mistletoe has been shown to contain cytotoxic compounds. My research focuses on the isolation and identification of these compounds. A new chemical entity may be identified; alternatively, the plant may be identified as a new source of a known compound. I am also interested in the development of a non-burning capsaicin cream which could be used for pain relief.
